About TG EAPCET 2026

The Telangana Engineering, Agriculture & Pharmacy (Veterinary etc.) Common Entrance Test-2026 (TG EAPCET-2026) is being conducted by Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Hyderabad (JNTUH) on behalf of Telangana Council of Higher Education (TGCHE). This examination is the prerequisite for admission into various professional courses offered in University / Private Colleges in the state of Telangana for the academic year 2026-2027.

TG EAPCET 2026 will be conducted in ONLINE mode (Computer Based Test) only across 16 test zones in Telangana. The exam opens doors to over 1,00,000 seats across 200+ engineering colleges, making it one of the most important entrance examinations for aspiring engineers, agriculturists, and pharmacists in Telangana.

Normalization: Since TG EAPCET is conducted in multiple sessions, a normalization process is applied to eliminate variations in difficulty levels across sessions. Ranks are allotted purely based on normalized marks.

Application Process - Step by Step

Follow these steps carefully to complete your TG EAPCET 2026 application successfully:

1. Pay Registration Fee

Pay the registration fee at TGOnline Centers in Telangana or through online using Credit Card / Debit Card / Net Banking. Keep the payment receipt for reference.

2. Fill Online Application

Visit official website eapcet.tgche.ac.in. Fill the online application form with personal details, academic qualifications, category, local/non-local status, and examination zone preference.

3. Upload Documents

Upload scanned copies of: Recent passport-size photograph, candidate signature, and required certificates in the specified format and size.

4. Print Filled-in Application

Review all entered details carefully. Submit the application form and download/print the filled-in application for future reference. Note down your registration number.

5. Edit Option (if needed)

Use the correction window (06-04-2026 to 08-04-2026) to update details if any corrections are required. Limited fields can be edited during this period.

6. Download Hall Ticket

Download hall ticket from 23-04-2026 (A&P) or 27-04-2026 (Engineering) onwards from the official website using your registration number.

You are eligible if:

  • Nationality: Indian Nationals, PIO, OCI card holders.
  • Domicile: Must satisfy Local/Non-Local status requirements of Telangana as per the Telangana Education Institutions (Regulations of Admission) order, 1974.
  • For Engineering: Passed or appearing for 10+2 with Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology or equivalent Diploma.
  • For Agriculture & Pharmacy: Passed or appearing for 10+2 with Biology, Physics, and Chemistry or equivalent.
  • Minimum Marks: 45% aggregate in specified subjects (40% for reserved categories).
  • Age Limit: Minimum 16 years (Engineering/Pharmacy) or 17 years (Agriculture/Dairy/Food Technology) as of 31st December of the admission year.

You are NOT eligible if:

  • You are below 16 years (Engineering/Pharmacy) or 17 years (Agriculture) as of 31st December 2026
  • You have not passed or appearing for 10+2 with PCM/PCB or equivalent Diploma
  • Your marks in qualifying exam are below minimum requirement (45% for General, 40% for Reserved)
  • You do not belong to Telangana state or are not an Indian National/PIO/OCI

Exam Day Instructions

Important instructions to follow on the examination day:

1.

Carry original Hall Ticket (downloaded from website) and valid Photo ID proof (Aadhar Card/PAN Card/Passport/Driving License/Voter ID).

2.

Report to the examination center at least 60 minutes before exam start time. Entry closes 30 minutes before exam.

3.

Biometric attendance may be mandatory. Ensure hands are clean and dry.

4.

Allowed items: Hall Ticket, ID proof, water bottle (transparent, without label). No electronic devices, calculators, watches, or study materials.

5.

Rough work can be done on provided sheets. No paper from outside is allowed.

6.

Computer-Based Test (CBT) - familiarize yourself with CBT interface through mock tests available on official website in English-Telugu and English-Urdu medium.

7.

Follow all instructions given by exam officials and invigilators. Malpractice will lead to disqualification.

Counselling Process

The TG EAPCET counselling process is conducted online by TGCHE. It involves the following steps:

  1. Registration & Processing Fee Payment: Candidates must register online and pay the processing fee through the official counselling portal.
  2. Certificate Verification: Can be done online or offline at designated Help Line Centres (HLCs). Required documents include SSC, Intermediate, Transfer Certificate, Caste Certificate (if applicable), Income Certificate, etc.
